Thank you for your interest in Hampton Preschool and Early Learning Center. It is our pleasure to serve the Cashiers community with a high quality early childhood education in a safe, warm, nurturing environment.
As the Director of Hampton Preschool and Early Learning Center for over 10 years. I have been fortunate to help develop a truly dynamic early education program for children. Having personally been an Early Childhood Educator since 1990. I have formed a strong conviction that the early learning experiences of young children are vital to their success in later life. To equip ourselves for this task, my staff and I continually pursue our own education. At Hampton, your child will benefit from our efforts to educate and inform ourselves of the latest understandings regarding the development process of young minds.
Reinforcing these beliefs are my 29 years as a wife, as the mother of two grown children, and now as a grandmother of three precious grandbabies. My husband Ricky is retired/disabled from the NCDOT, daughter Emily lives here in Cashiers and also works as an Early Childhood Educator here at Hampton and son Nathan is now a senior at Western Carolina University, majoring in Construction Management. Our precious “grand-twins” Ella and Will that are 6 years and a granddaughter Ava that is 1 year. Along with our pug, Zoey and havanese Callie, we enjoy a healthy family lifestyle.
With both a strong professional and practical perspective, my staff and I stand ready to engage your child. We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child and family.
